New Poll Shows The Majority of Americans Have Never Heard Of Central Bank Digital Currencies
Nearly 32% Of Respondents Approve Of The Fed Launching A CBDC If It Means "Helping Combat Recessions"
A survey recently published by Cato Institute explores how Americans feel about Central Bank Digital Currencies. There were 2,000 respondents who answered a total of 40 questions. The poll was conducted from February 27, 2023 through March 8, 2023 in collaboration with YouGov. Although somewhat predictable, the results of the poll were, in my cases, surprising and pointed either to a complete lack of an opinion or knowledge of the risks associated with digital currencies.
The vast majority of American public does not know of a new reality that may already be on our door step.
