We also do so directly as well. Look at the embargoing of fuel into Cuba. Making the Cuban people suffer because we don't like their government is evil and inexcusable. The Founding Fathers, we supposed celebrate this week, would be appalled at what has become of the Constitutional Republic replaced by the American Empire.
"Due to my unconstitutional war on Iran, which I started based on a lie alone for Israel, I managed to cut off vital fertilizers needed by US farmers."
Lena, you mentioned we export some of the phosphate fertilizer we make in the US. It seems like the first order of business would be to deny exports for 8 months of all fertilizer produced in the United States. I am not under any illusions that the business class in the US always gets what they want first, over and above what the American people need. I have no doubt we will be still exporting food from America no matter how high food prices go, as Big Business runs the show.
On other fronts, Trump has caused immeasurable harm to the US economy. Canada is now building an oil pipeline to the coast to sell their oil to Asian buyers because Trump threatened to tariff Canadian oil coming into the US, going to US refineries. This will probably reduce some employment at US refineries as a result of less oil to process. Trash talking and threatening our next door trading partner is reckless and has damaged the two countries' relations for decades to come. Canada is working long-term to reduce reliance on the US. This also means they will buy their upcoming defense needs from other countries than the US. Trump is a bull in a china shop, leaving long-term damage wherever he goes while Congress seems happy with an Imperial Presidency.
Trump's actions in Iran have guaranteed global famine and depression.

tRump caused this by putting high tariffs on Canada and then again by attacking IRAN for israel and turning the US into an international pariah.
Trump's proclamation SHOULD have read:
"Due to my unconstitutional war on Iran, which I started based on a lie alone for Israel, I managed to cut off vital fertilizers needed by US farmers."
