Ecclesiastes 4:13 KJB Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.

And the revolving door will keep spinning...

I watched another non-U.S. podcaster, Dmitri Lascaris, from Canada, talk about how bad the U.S. is behaving towards the rest of the world. In his video from Trinidad, Cuba, he talks about how the U.S. and Canadian relations are deteriorating badly, and with this new business of trying to further choke of the Russian energy industry, which is only really choking off Central and Western Europe, things are going to come to a head very soon this year.

The Europeans are going to hit a point quickly when the EU will tell the U.S, enough, you're killing us. I expect this to start with Slovakia, Austria and others nearby. But the wave will roll across Europe eventually.

The United States has put themselves into a precarious position with all of these sanctions on Russia, China and Iran, among others. They are starting to fight back. If enough other countries manage to put up a big enough fight, Trump and company may have to rethink what they are doing.

We should be so lucky.

Europe needs to start acting like a sovereign entity rather than the lap dog of the US government. The EU has to start thinking about what is best for the EU and not making the US government happy. The US government doesn't take the EU seriously because its never had any reason to. Hopefully the EU will wake up and grow up soon and start making decisions that benefit Europeans, not the US. The EU needs to ditch the US and start talking to Russia again and find a path to economic and political stability, because they won't find either with the US government.
