Where in the Constitution does it give the President complete power to handle all tariffs without any Congressional vote on the matter? Not only that, but tariffs on Mexico and Canada violate the NAFTA Treaty. Why is this not discussed?

The one thing that will rally the people behind the democrats will be Trump's destruction of the U.S. economy. Even though they're likely to ruin things as well, only slower.

Both parties have zero economic sense and seem to believe they can spend to the moon and back and we won't ever suffer for those consequences. Trump's answer is low interest rates to save on national interest payments. If only he cared about REDUCING those payments by spending less, it would make much more sense. Lower interest rates reward debtors and punish savers. Is this a great policy goal?

The world can find other trading partners than the US. This is very bad for the US. This happened 2016 Trump presidency, and it is happening now twice in 6 months.

When the us president keeps throwing sand in the sandbox, the other neighborhood kids go elsewhere.

It can be lonely in the sandbox but that’s where we are.
