I'm sure you heard by now, but the IMF and World Bank are calling for a "carbon tax;" "the more you pollute, the more you pay," the IMF chief said.

Hi Lena , In March 2023 when Xi visited Putin in Moscow ,their departing words ,things like this only happen in a Hundred years ,now Putin ,Accompanied by " Elvira Nabiullah Russian 's Central Bank head went along with Putin to UAE and Saudia Arabia's and Iran President flew to Moscow to meet with Putin the following day. Also last month i received information that mid Dec. 2023 their may be a world wide reset ,Then today i received an update that it may happen on Dec. 14-15 a reset of currencies world wide to Values of 1965 ie. U.S Dollar reduced 180 dollars to one new Dollar also in my

Opinion the Visits by Putin to the Middle East including with Elvira Nabiullah , I think oil well be paid

in GOLD. The banker are sell their stocks ,Central bank's are loading up on Gold This will be the largest transfer of wealth in World History ,this is not Financial Information ,if you do not have Gold and Silver

in you Position. good luck !!

Hi Lena,

Banks are tightening credit standarts, FED funds are at %5.25 and QT is on track. In the light of these facts, how come the financial conditions loose to keep markets afloat ?

Best Regards

Hi Lena

I am a real estate investing mentor and help people actively to invest. It is true that affordability has been declining due to the high interest rates, especially in USA. This will result in a hugh bubble of penned up demand when the interest rates come down towards 5% again, in my opinion.

I have looked to find if there is a way to get in touch other than on platforms. Do you have a way to send an email?

Thanks for the update, Lena. I had heard recently that around $200 Trillion in derivatives held by the banks are coming due as soon as next Friday, the 15th. Is that true or did I misread something? I know that we are facing a "derivatives timebomb," as Buffet calls it, but I did not realize just how close that is. I had read on one site that listed the exact number of derivatives these banks hold, and JP Morgan, Goldman, and Citi have above $50 trillion each. This banking bust is going to be so colossal, people have no clue...

There is a new accounting pronouncement specifically on derivatives that goes into effect on December 15, 2023. Perhaps that's part of the story. $200 trillion is a significant exposure but I would think that counterparties (both sides to derivative contracts) would start unwinding them (mutually agreed upon cancellation) if they anticipated any major issues down the road. At least that is my hope!

Okay, thanks for clarifying that for me.

Thank you Thomas! I haven't figured out the ins and outs of Substack just yet (this is very much a one person show as you all know!), but I certainly appreciate your kind words!
